A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF PRETTY PRAIRIE, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 1993 SUPP. 75-1122, REQUIRING AN ANNUAL AUDIT, AND FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 75-1120a, REQUIRING THE MAINTENANCE OF FIXED ASSETS RECORDS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF PRETTY PRAIRIE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. That Pretty Prairie, Kansas, a City of the third class, by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5, of the Constitution of the State of Kansas, hereby elects to exempt itself and does hereby exempt itself from the provisions of K.S.A. 1993 Supp. 75-1122, and K.S.A. 75-1120a, and elects to make said statutes inapplicable to the City of Pretty Prairie, thus exempting said city from the requirement of having an annual audit and maintaining fixed assets records.
