AN ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF PRETTY PRAIRIE, KANSAS, FROM PORTIONS OF K.S.A. 15-204 and K.S.A. 15-209.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF PRETTY PRAIRIE, KANSAS.

SECTION 1. The City of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, by the power vested in it, under the appropriate Kansas law, elects to make inapplicable to it, and exempt itself from K.S.A 15-204 and K.S.A. 15-209.

SECTION 2. The City Council shall develop and implement policies and procedures for employing, evaluating and retaining or not retaining in employment all nonelected personnel including those enumerated in K.S.A. 15-204 and K.S.A. 15-209.
