Those persons who own, keep, harbor, shelter, manage, possess, or have a part interest in any animal, within the city limits of the city of Pretty Prairie, shall be subject to fines and penalties as determined from time to time by the City Council in a rate schedule. Said rate schedule will be reviewed on annual basis by the Governing Body, and will become an operational provision to this chapter.

(a)   The Governing Body will designate and name an impoundment facility as incorporated in the provisions of this chapter, and will become a part of the rate schedule to be reviewed on annual basis by the City Council, and subject to change upon their discretion.

(b)   Impoundment fees will be determined by the impoundment facility. When designated as such by ordinance, the impoundment fees may be incorporated into fines and penalties, that are determined by the rate schedule, as provided for in Section 2-401.
